Solina Belgium is part of the company Solina Group, expert in customized solutions for food processing industrials (meat
industry, ready meal-& snack industry, QSR), food service professionals and nutritional industrials.
Next to its operations in Belgium, the Belgian subsidiary covers also a lot of interco business and some export activities to
countries in Eastern Europe. Solina Belgium is part of Solina Central Europe area which covers BE, NL, FR and GE.
As Commercial Business controller CE, you will play a key role in driving the financial and commercial success of the company by providing insightful financial and business data to support informed decision-making.
You will act as a strategic business partner, primarily supporting the commercial organization with financial guidance and analysis.
Your key responsibilities:
* Cost Management & Analysis: you will monitor and analyse costs and expenses, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and areas for efficiency improvement.
* Business Partnering:
- You will collaborate closely with key departments, particularly Sales and Management, to provide financial guidance and analysis for strategic initiatives and projects.
- You will act as a liaison between Finance and other departments.
- You will identify and report on key operational and financial KPIs to the team.
* Recommend actions to enhance long-term sustainable company performance aligned with strategic priorities.
* Financial Reporting & Analysis: You will prepare monthly reports for 4 legal entities, including variance analysis, performance against budget, trend analysis, risk assessments, and identification of key drivers and sensitivities.
* Budgeting & Forecasting:
- You assist in the preparation of the annual budget by assessing and consolidating inputs from various departments.
- You are going to challenge business partners to ensure budgets are ambitious yet realistic, achievable with available resources, and consistent with company policies and profit targets.
*Regional Collaboration: you will participate in the EMEA Controller community and contribute to ad-hoc analyses and projects within the region.
* Ad-hoc Projects: support with various ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.
* You will lead and guide a small team of Commercial controllers.
Your profile:
- You have a Master degree in Finance or Economics, and minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function.

You have advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
